You can change your profile on yeswehunt.eu at any time. Go to "My Network", open "My Dashboard“ in the right-hand column (if not opened yet), then go to "Profile and Settings". Using the different tabs, you can change your profile. Don’t forget to push "Save changes" when finished.

You can change your password on yeswehunt.eu at any time. Go to "My Network", open "My Dashboard" in the right-hand column (if not opened yet), then go to "Profile and Settings". Using the last tab "yeswehunt.eu settings", you can change your password. First enter your current password, then twice your new one. Don’t forget to push "Save changes" when finished.

Within this section, you get an overview of all people out of the yeswehunt.eu Network who already became a Personal Contact of you. If you want to search for other people, you can use the search function at the bottom of the "My Network" page. After having viewed the profile of the other User (using the "View profile" link), you can send a request to become a contact (using the "Add as a contact" link). The other User can accept or reject your request. When he/she accepts, you will receive a confirmation message. When he/she rejects, you will not receive any message.

Invite fellow hunters to join the yeswehunt.eu Network

In case the hunter searched for seems not to be yet a Registered User of yeswehunt.eu, you can easily invite him to join by using the link "Invite fellow hunters to join the yeswehunt.eu Network" in the bottom of the right-hand column on the "My Network"- page.

Private messages are – as the name indicates – private communications between one User and another one. Nobody else can read or follow these conversations. So called "Wall updates" however are visible to any of your Contacts. You broadcast those updates by entering text in the field "Enter text to share your thoughts with your Contacts" and then click update. As such you can keep your whole network updated about your recent hunting days, what you’re doing at the moment etc.

All forums on yeswehunt.eu are accessible to any Registered User. A distinction is made between Thematical and Country Forums. Only within the Country Forums, the official languages of the country concerned may be used. In the Thematical Forums, the usage of English is strongly recommended, so that you reach the widest audience possible.

Reply to postings of other Registered Users

To reply to the postings of other Registered Users, just click "Reply to this message" within the overview page of ongoing discussions on a certain topic, enter your message and click "send"

Raise a new discussion topic

If you want to raise a new discussion topic, please go to the most appropriate Forum, click on "New topic", chose a good title for your topic, and start writing your question or comment to start the discussion.

Follow forums

You can actively follow specific Forums by clicking the link "Follow this Forum" on the Forum page. As a consequence, you will be updated within your "My network" page, when new topics or messages are posted.

The Marketplace on yeswehunt.eu has been created to facilitate the exchange of hunting days and/or goods between Users (so non-commercial use only!). Both Offer and Demand ads as well as hunting days exchanges can be posted.

Include an ad

Within "My Dashboard", you will see the submenu "Ads & hunting exchanges". If you click on it, you will find your actual ads & hunting exchanges (in case you have already posted some). In case not, click on "create an ad" (for goods) or on "create an exchange" (for hunting days) to get started. Choose a category and give a clear description, indicating – as appropriate – maker, type, number, size, colour, weight, etc. and any other aspect likely to give potentially interested people the best possible idea of what is offered/requested. Prices should always be mentioned in Euro (€); indicate clearly the net price and possible additional costs (such as packing / shipping).

Respond to an ad

If you are interested in an ad of another User, just click "View details". Subsequently you can click "Respond to ad" if appropriate to send a private message to the User who posted the ad to get more info etc.

Upload and manage photos

Within yeswehunt.eu, you can upload pictures and as such create your own hunting albums. To do so, go to "My Dashboard" and select the "Upload and manage photos"-menu. In case you did not create any album yet, just click "Create a new photo album", choose a good title (required field), indicate the place and write a text describing shortly your album

In the next screen, pictures (JPEG, GIF, PNG-files) can be uploaded from your computer. Multiple files can be uploaded at the same time. When the upload is finished, just click "Next" to start commenting each of your pictures with a title and a short description. Once terminated, your Contacts will be able to view and comment your pictures.

Add your pictures to the public gallery

In case you want to add some of your pictures to the public gallery, accessible through the homepage of yeswehunt.eu, just click the link "Add your perfect photo to this public gallery". Make sure you first decide whether your pictures fit into the hunting trophy/scene pictures section( the so called "Hunting"- section) or better suit the "Wildlife & Nature" section (containing wildlife photography, exceptional landscapes etc.) by clicking the appropriate button(s). Then select the Album out of which you want to choose one or more pictures. Once confirmed your picture(s) is/are visible within the Public gallery. It is however always possible to remove again your picture(s) from the public gallery as well, by clicking on it, and subsequently on "delete this photo".

Please remember that each yeswehunt.eu Registered User is only entitled to uploading a total number of max 10 pictures into the public gallery. So, please try to choose your best pictures.

Within the Calendar section, you should normally find at a glance Europe’s most important upcoming hunting events. Nevertheless, in case we would have forgotten to include a major event, you can simply make us the suggestion to include it by clicking the button "Suggest an event" at the bottom of the page.

In case you will attend a certain event, you can share this with your Network by clicking the "I will attend"- link. This might be helpful to meet people during the event.

A yellow coloured season indicates that the concerned game species may only be hunted under special conditions.

A part from that, it is good to know that in many European countries, different regions (≠) - although belonging to the same country - often have (very) different (≠) opening and closing dates. When applicable, a remark, indicated by an * is included for the countries/species concerned.
